The right bench for the right purpose

Being able to sit at the right height at a keyboard is essential, and although this is not an expensive, high-end, nicely upholstered bench with a twist knob for adjustment, this bench IS a good vale for the price, and will do nicely until you are ready for a more expensive piano with a more expensive bench. It is a good home bench for the beginner to sit at an electronic keyboard, and it is also good for use with stage digitals for gigs.

Don't buy one of these new MS mouse products

I had to return this item because the intellipoint software cannot detect the 4000 mouse. A web search confirmed that others have had a similar issue, and there is no response from Microsoft, other than guesswork by their community members and no reports of a good fix. I reinstalled by previous Microsoft 7000 mouse, and the software detected it right away. The older 7000 uses a transponder that is about an inch long, and the new 4000 mouse used a very small transponder. This change in hardware design could be associated with a change in product manufacturing. I would steer clear of this one.
