Rubber handlebar fasteners broke within days

Rubber handlebar fasteners broke within days. The mirrors were okay for the price, but the fasteners broke quickly. Pull them too hard and they snap.

Highly reflective and strong

This material looks like the reflective strips on one of my food delivery backpacks. Rather than sewing it, I fastened the fabric to a delivery bag using extra-strong, outdoor, self-adhesive Velcro strips. This has held up over some days or a week's use. The reflective fabric serves to cover up the delivery company logos printed on the backpack, to reflect headlights so I don't go SPLAT biking around NYC, and also holds the side pockets of my bag closed. I'm impressed that I can hold the side pockets closed when they're overly full, and that the fabric shows no signs of wear. I haven't washed it yet. I think this is great stuff.

Good scale for weighing coins but not for mixing pharmaceuticals

I rated the Horizon BP-D Series scale 4 out of 5 stars because it's a good value if it's tolerances are sufficient for the task at hand. It's fairly sturdy, though I don't know how long it'll last. I am not an expert on scales but I think it's fine for weighing ounce coins to see if they're off. The counting feature (which I didn't test) might make the scale worth the money for some applications. The Horizon BP-D Series scale is not as consistent as the JScale HP-200X I received the same day. The JScale is made by a company formerly called Jennings which has been in business a long time. The $10 or so higher price made a difference, and I wonder how much more accuracy another $100 would buy. When I shop for a milligram scale I will start with a much more expensive scale. The two scales differ by .1 grams, which seems a lot to me. Additionally, they both may read the same object differently after repeated weighings. The Horizon differed with itself by as much as .3 grams, where the JScale did so mostly by .1 grams and sometimes by .2 grams. The Horizon gave different results more often than the JScale. Calibration helped both scales, and the Horizon seems to lose its calibration more quickly. Taking repeated measurements also seemed to yield good results on both scales. I'm very happy with the Horizon and the JScale for most purposes. But I'd like to test both scales against a $150 scale, as I'd rather have a very accurate scale than not.
