Disgaea (Nintendo DS, 2008)

More Portable, More Playable
A pretty optimized version of the first Disgaea for the DS. I believe it has nearly everything the original PS2 version has and more, with the exception of voice acting and cutscenes in some parts (I'm playing the bonus 'Etna Mode'). The game cartridge can only hold so much memory, so the sounds and graphics are a bit distorted, but is negligible. Has been more significantly rare to get a complete copy these days, so get it while you can.

Absolute Classic
This is the game that got me into the franchise. The weapon variety, the beastiary, the music…it's that good. The game plays fine as well, a must-have title for the DS.
