Works fine, good cost, color flashing annoying
For the price this unit is exceptional. It clips on, Measures well and fast, but the color changing display can be annoying. When tuned it is green background. When not tuned it is red background. As you get close it blinks red / green/ red and the extreme between red and green (complementary colors) confuses me. It doesn't help me to get it right as the guitar itself wavers a little bit just from striking the string. This means the threshold for when it goes from red to green is too tight. However, seeing the change from red to green makes it easy to see that you have reach the mark and the basic idea is nice as you can see this from a distance without eyeglasses. However the rapid blinking makes it hard to know if you can stop turning the peg or continue. Cost wise though it is a great value..

good quality, work well, charged
Arrived with celophane wrapping and two connector protectors. Measured voltage and over 6.3v meanning charged, and both were the same so they are balanced which is good as mine are in series. My sound unit autocharged them to full and it made good sound so they work. Made in Japan and they look very well made. Haven't measured their capacity but that will come with time.

Good for the price but not first class quality of a high end clamp.
For the price it is twice as much as I could get in India (they are from Pakistan) but very cheap for something in USA. The quality is low and appropriate to the cost which is why I still give 5 stars and say it is a good value. They don't stay clamped on thick items and the joint is not as tight as one that costs 5 times more. But for me and my hobbies and electronics and cleaning out the bathroom drain they are just fine!
