For the cuteness alone

What is more calm than watching a manatee slide through the water? Sliding one into your cup and waiting for tea. It's relaxing just looking at it. Such a cute idea for all the tea drinkers you know, that and a box of loose tea with a cute note is an adorable gift. I am buying them for Christmas gifts but you know lots of people who would appreciate this year round for the humor alone. Fun!

If only everyone used it!

So many plain and simple truths applied here to councils. We know these truths. Why are our councils so long and not productive? This book is sublime in its simplicity and the lessons are easy to understand, and make so much sense. Please buy one for leaders you know. They need this book. And they will waste a lot less time --theirs and yours-- if they apply the principles here. Try to be patient with leaders after you read this. Once you get the whole picture it's hard to deal with those who don't. Leadership is service, and follow up is an eternal principle completely neglected in so many councils... such an important step to both acknowledge a job well done and to make sure the job was completed. Awesome book and I'm buying multiple copies.

"Fall in Love" all over again

When I first got this CD I had to listen to "Fall in love with me" over and over... Missed it so much! I also loved "Side by Side" and "Something Special". The rest of the album is kind of a mix of ups and downs which makes it hard to listen to in order. Not my favorite album but a must have regardless. No one uses brass like they do, and you can not beat Maurice White's genius or Philip Bailey's vocals.
