Help Me Out Here: I need some guidance on how to make this CB Work

Being my first handheld Citizen's Band radio, I was beyond excited. However, I have issues getting the thing to work. Now, I Make no bones about the fact that I am a greenhorn when it comes to operating a CB radio. It has been nothing short of a search across the planet to find a user manual. I did some research and found that the HH28 is rather outdated. I would love to use it... I just don't know how. Any assistance would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
