Cheap, Lightweight, Does the job
I wanted to use this as a mount point for my home bike rack. I use a 1" pipe repair flange to hold my bike by the seatpost. Rather than gouge up my nice suspension seatpost, I bought this one so that I could permanently mount it into the rack.
It's very lightweight, so for someone who wants to use it for riding, it certainly isn't going to make your ride heavier. It isn't the longest seat post in the world, so keep that in mind if you're buying it for a bike where you need 200mm+ seatpost ability. Finish seems quite nice, so it would look nice on a bike as well.
Overall, it was inexpensive and did the job I wanted it to do.

Works very well
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Bought this for my 1x11 setup on my Dartmoor Primal 29er. Was dropping chain when I would get into the largest 2 cogs in rear. This was a slightly tight fit in my frame (based only on frame design, not the actual unit), but I was able to get it to work. Holds chain in place very well.

Great Adapter!
I bought this for my 29er that didn't have ISCG05 mounts. I wanted to attach Blackspire chain guide to stop dropped chains. This worked perfectly. Mounts inside the bottom bracket and easily holds the chain guide in place.
Two things to make sure you do when you install this.
1) Install with it curving inward.
2) If you have a spacers between drive side and bottom bracket shell, be sure to remove one when installing this.
I found it easiest to install the chain guide onto the adapter BEFORE installing the adapter itself, so you can properly torque bolts without worrying about dinging frame. Also allows you hold the chain guide in the position you want while tightening it.
Overall a great device.
