Great processor for Dell t5500

This is an excellent processor. Installed in a t5500 motherboard and riser. Games run exceptionally well paired with a gtx 1060. Highly recommend.

fast and reliable

I waited 4 months to really put these computers through the ringer before I wrote a review on them. I will say that they are incredible if you can afford to do a few upgrades. My son and I made a project out of making two gaming rigs out of these computers. My first worry was that the 3.2 speed would be an issue with newer games. This is absolutely not a problem. We did upgrade the Graphics Card and put an SSD in it and the computer runs everything we have throw at high or ultra settings. The only downside that I can find with these computers is that the PSU is proprietary and there is not a huge amount of room for a larger Graphics Card. We went with the GTX1060 mini which fit perfectly. So far these computers are solid performers.. stable, fast and probably the quietest computer I have ever had. Heavy and bulky but incredible machines.

Great CPU even in 2023

This CPU runs about everything I can throw at it. I installed it in a Z640 and paired it with a 2080ti. I am a gamer and and also work in design. it's perfect for what I do and I would highly recommend it over any of the 160W CPU's. (I learned quickly that those high wattage chips either will not work or need excessive cooling)
