Warns against basement flooding
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I've been concerned about sump pump failure after heavy rains. Home sits low and sump pump may run every 3-5 minutes after strong rains. I'm counting on this sensor to trigger a text and phone call if any water rises above the sump pump pit. You must have an ooma phone system to use the sensor. I pay about $6/month for the home internet phone service, which is the cost of the federal and state taxes. I have only the one sensor. If I used more (security or other water sensors), I would have to subscribe to ooma's Premier service, which would add about $10/month but would include a bunch of other phone features.
