Falling off a log.
Speaking purely from a Mac OS point of view, this is the easiest piece of gear I've ever used. I did no setup and it consistently works fine.

Easy to get a great sound.
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I love pro audio gear, but I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree, so learning science is not my thing. After hearing about the Focusrite ISA's history, I was compelled to do a little research. I was drawn in by the simplicity. All the heavy-lifting is under the hood. You really don't have to do much to get a great (albeit subtle) sound. When I received it, I tested it out with a few crappy mics, and was totally blown away. In one instance, it completely changed the character of an SM58 to something amazing like a high-end shotgun mic or something. If you have a nice large-diaphragm condenser, it shines it up like a tea-tray. It gave the AKG414 a presence that is so easy to mix; vox cut through like a knife through warm butter.
The price for two of these magical preamps is unbeatable.
Trust me, you won't regret buying it.
