A short game, but one of the most fun you can get in a game
A fast and chaotic over-the-shoulder third-person shooting game. First the bad: - The main game is short: at about 5 hours for most people. - Cheesy plot and script: typical sci-fi nonsense; dialogue can be down-right ridiculous at times. - No multiplayer mode: The Good: - High Octane action: Make no mistake, this game all the action sequences typical of a Japanese Anime during cut scenes as well as game play. - Smooth control mechanics: the game character handles pretty much the way you ask him to. - Excellent graphics: despite all the stuff that can happen on the screen at once, I have not experienced any drop in framerate or screen tearing while playing on a 60Hz TV; The environments look beautiful and motion effects ate stunning ...One more thing to consider: Although the main game is short there is a leaderboard for best score upon completing a playthrough. There are also extremely difficult challenge trials (in which the player most defeat a certain number of enemies as quickly as possible) that can extend gameplay to another few more hours also coupled with leaderboards for each trial.

    Very Cool Game
I consider myself a gamer. However, I'm not one that impulsively buys the latest game that I think would be cool only to end up not liking it and feel like I've wasted money which I could have used for something else. So,...To avoid this, I read game reviews and invest in particular games appropriately. However, with this latest generation of consoles (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii), really good games are far and wide apart. And so I looked into this past generation of console games (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube) for gems that I've passed over. I was looking at old game rankings and reviews from various video game websites and so I came to 2005's "Shadow of the Colossus" for the PS2 which received very high marks from the critics. The game play itself is very simple. There are no other characters to interact with, no dungeons or levels to go through, and no other bad guys besides the monsters themselves. A very thin plot sees very little movement during the game. All you really do is find the monster and then find a way to kill it when you do. As boring as it sounds it's well executed. The vast open land is so huge that you will often find yourself riding horse back across grassy fields, bridges, mountains, deserts, and forests just to get to your foes. The virtual terrain looks so beautiful that it really pushed the limits of the PS2 system. Fighting the monsters is the other half of the game. As simple as these fights are, the developers really made them seem epic with dramatic music and great graphics. Each fight is a basically a puzzle which tests your ingenuity. Killing the beasts is simple -- figuring out how to kill them is the REAL challenge. What I don't like is that the controls weren't all to great. The camera seems to not know where to position itself and keeps wandering off to unhelpful angles. All in all, I would recommend this game to any one who is into action/adventure games or people who are just looking to play a good game.

Good chance to play a classic title.
Ocarina of Time stands as one of the greatest video games ever to be published. The story is grand and epic, the gameplay offers a good blend of an action/adventure game with mix of RPG elements thrown in. The graphics, although slightly upgraded on the Gamecube, are still very dated. The disc allows the player to either choose to play the original game, or the slightly modified Master Quest version. The Master Quest is 95% identical to the original, the only difference being that the dungeons, though pretty much the same lay out, have been re-mixed. For example, you may find a different set of enemies in a room that weren't there in original or some of the puzzle elements must be solved in a different manner. This bonus disc is a great opportunity to play the game for those who haven't yet, and the Master Quest version offers those who've already played the original something different while they're intoxicated in their nostalgia.
