Got what I deserved
This is my 4th Elite, including the 1st gen that was my first. They're great compact headsets with great sound, but the join where the two pieces come together is a weak point, and I don't get more than a year out of them before they break. And that's OK; if durability was that important, I'd get something larger. But this time I tried to save money on a refurb and got fair value. Sound to the earpiece is fine, but outgoing sound over the mic is intermittently unacceptable, which is completely unacceptable. I can't use it for calls if I'll not be understood half the time. I've learned my lesson and will buy new in the future.
