Works where others didn't
Fixed a unique problem on an older HP desktop system. Wanted a media reader so installed another very similar device. It didn't work. Neither did a similar replacement. Got this OEM media reader and it worked!. Suspect other 2 units had greater power requirements that the HP motherboard couldn't provide.

Low cost system upgrade.
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. Installed this in an older Mobo with 1.75v default vcore and 24x max configurable multiplier and on first boot it auto-configured for 1.5v vcore and 28x (cpu multiplier is locked but the point is it worked with an older Mobo and BIOS). The system appears stable so far, CPU temp is normal using original heatsink and fan. Overall a nice performance upgrade for relatively little cost.
