An amazing number of modes, great lighting, light, and quite powerful

Great for the price - mid pack as a high-end LED flashlight
These lights are a steal for the price but, in my opinion, not primo in terms of the quality of the beam. This is due to the use of the specific type of LED and optics (both less expensive than what would yield an evenly diffused beam). I find it a bit comical that they throw a clear image of the LED die when focused all the way out as a spot beam. I chuckle ever time.
As I said above, for the price these are an incredible value and I have several of these that I keep stashed around the house for general use.
As a closing note - these are NOWHERE near 2000 lumens of output no matter how you measure them. I realize that this overstatement of capabilities is common to this genre of light. I have a few other lights that have been measured for actual output in reviews and I would guess that this light is putting out more like 300 to 500 actual lumens. I knew this going in and just find the lack of standards and honor in the ratings a bit irritating.
