Sunset "Western Garden Book"

This is the best resource gardening book for the West. Wether you are a beginner or the experienced gardener this book is a must. If you have something growing in your garden and are not sure what it is or how to care for it, you'll find it in here. Not only is it easy to use, it has sections for almost everything. Want a climbing plant, there's a section on just climbers. Want plants in the same basic colors, there is a section for it. I have both the 1976 edition and the 1998 edition. This last 1998 edition was for a friend. Your local nursery stocks some beautiful plants, but not all of them will grow in your area. If you check the plants out in the "Western Garden Book" you'll have no problem identifying what not to buy.
