Altura step up ring 67-77mm
Was looking for a step up ring for my one lens that takes 67mm filters as all my others take 77mm. It is not something I will be using often so I was looking for one not to pricey. This metal ring appears to be well made, both the male and female threads function smoothly and hold securely. A good value for the price.

Canon 100-400mm is a good choice
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I bought the Canon 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L lens as an alternative to my Sigma 150-500mm lens which I've had about a year. Having taken the Sigma on an Alaskan trip this past summer, I found it to be too much lens to carry around mounted on my camera for extended periods of time. I was also somewhat disappointed with the Sigma's IQ even when mounted on a tripod. I bought the Canon in order to compare the two and see which better suited my needs - a long zoom lens that can be carried mounted on my camera and carried reasonably comfortably while hiking. After several days of shooting with the Canon, I have found the Canon lens to be significantly shorter and lighter (about 1.5 lbs. lighter) and therefore much easier to carry around from place to place while mounted on the camera body. I have also found the IQ to be somewhat better than the Sigma's. I have found that the 100mm shorter focal length of the Canon vs. the Sigma is not that great an issue to me. If needed I can use my 1.4X teleconverter and get a bit more range than the Sigma at a cost of half an f-stop vs. the Sigma, but with IQ equal to the Sigma. On the flip side, I actually gain half a stop at 400mm over the Sigma. Both the Canon and Sigma lens are well made lenses. All in all I am very pleased with the Canon as it better suits my needs for a long zoom lens and I will be selling my Sigma lens.

Good lightweight wideangle lens.
I purchased the canon ef-m 11-22 as good, lightweight, wide angle lens for my Canon M5 Sharpness is good in the center and does get a bit soft in the corners. But as part of a lighter weight backpacking kit it is a good lens. On my crop sensor M5 it acts like a 17-35 mm lens.
