Lenovo Tab M8 FHD, 8.0" FHD IPS Touch 350 nits, 3GB, 32GB eMMC, Android 9 Pie

It's a decent tablet for the money but internal storage is horrible.
Coming from a Tab S4 9.7" that I used regularly for many months, I have found this one to be a lot less capable. Yes, there is a big price difference between the two but several things about the tablet drive me crazy. Firstly, you can only get it with 32GB of internal storage (20GB actually available). Devices these days should have at least 128GB. Once I added a MicroSD card it asked me if I wanted to expand my internal storage or use it seperately. I choose expand but after installing many apps got a notification that I couldn't add any more because there isn't enough room (while it shows that I still have over 150GB free). If you only plan on installing a few small apps, this tablet would work fine but if you're like me and install a lot of games and apps then pass on this for sure and get something like a Galaxy Tab S6 instead with 128GB or 256GB internal storage. Secondly, when you go to the Play Store and look at reviews, they are shown in a really small screen that's about half the width and height of the tablets display. There are other minor annoyances throughout as well, like not being able to swipe through the text while writing this review. Instead your forced to use keyboard arrows. Thirdly, and this one bugs me the most, the icon packs I use on my smartphone aren't available for the tablet. I use specific icons for my folders and this complete screws up my productivity. You wouldn't think something as simple as an icon pack would be universal and work on any type of Android device and version, but they don't. Same goes for apps. It's like hit and miss if an app will be compatible with your tablet these days, which makes buying Android tablets a real hassle. Forthly, the brightness control is very finicky. It jumps from about 5% to 50% making it either too dark to see or too bright which also drains the battery faster. Lastly, if you use the MicroSD Card and ever change it, or it fails, many apps fail on the tablet and it crashes badly. If you're just going to be using it occasionally, it will do, and the 8" screen size is excellent compared to the huge 10.5" and 12" alternatives. It's much easier to hold for extended periods. If you plan on using it every day and play a lot of demanding games, I would recommend a Galaxy Tab S6 or S7 instead though.
