Great Product
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I used this nailer as an accessory to my PowerNail 445. I wanted to use my cleat nails all the way to the wall and in areas like a coat closet, cabinet toe kick, and pantry where the 445 just wouldn't fit. As advertised, it made short work of those areas. It was a bit slower than just using a finish nailer, but using cleats for the whole job was important to me.
The only two negatives I have, and these could also just be classified as warnings, is that you need to oil it more frequently than the standard nailer, and you need to be careful not to use more than a couple of drops of oil. Any more than that and the nailer will mist oil out of the exhaust onto your work as you nail. The second negative is bent nails in hard wood. My installation is hickory and starting out I bent probably 8 out of 10 nails. I switched to pre-drilling the holes and I didn't bend another nail after that. Not sure if that's just a limitation of the nailer, or lack of training on the part of the operator (me). I would imagine softer woods would not require pre-drilling.
