DVD is JUNK!
It is junk! Please don't waste your money buying this. Whoever did the mixing has no clue as to what they were doing. They have the orchestra sounding like it is in another room instead of right behind the group. I have every DVD the group has put out but not sure I'll buy anymore of them in the future. It's shame because this had the potential of being a great DVD but all was lost to somebody that had no clue as to what they were doing.

One of Disney's "Hidden" jewels
3 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. This has to be one of Disney's "sleepers" as I knew nothing of it until I saw it on eBay. It might be considered a sequel to Song of the South as it carries some of the same actors/actresses as before. Burl Ives does a great job in this movie. It is dated, granted, but for just plain clean, family entertainment, it's worth the money. Children will especially love it. Sadly, Bobby Driscoll took his life several years later when he could no longer find work as an actor. Once the cuteness wore off, he was basically cast aside for younger boys and he just couldn't cope with it.

BAD waste of money!
3 personnes sur 7 ont jugé cet avis utile. Whoever did the sound setup on this set obviously NEVER heard of stereo! The acts, while okay, are ruined by the flat sounding audio. Now have to decide whether to just toss this mess in the trash or donate it to Goodwill and hope somebody that is tone deaf buys it.
