Great melodramas with superb acting.

Two great melodramas with Lana Turner. Both films exceptionally executed by the studio. Tasteful decoration and fabulous outfits created for Lana Turner. Her costar in Portrait in Black was Anthony Quinn who played his role exceptionally well and John Forsythe in Madame X was equally great. These are great films from the early sixties that should not be missed. Great transfers from film to disc and great sound. Lana Turner fans, this is a must have for your collection.

Entertaining and fun

Wonderful and engaging story of the famous Disco Club "54" in NYC during the late 1970's. Characters are great and the stars portraying them do an excellent job. The great soundtrack of Disco Hits is a reminder of a bygone era. Especially good is the voice over of Ryan Phillippe. The Directors Cut has just been released, but I still prefer this version, the theatrical release, mostly for the voice over. Great for the lovers of Disco Music.
