DEFINITELY Love my Kenwood DV-5900M over my Sony DVP-CX950V any day.

I love my Kenwood DV-5900M DVD/CD player. I have a Sony DVP CX995V - 400 Disk Player as well, which always had several problems. The Sony, as many also indicate, tends to loose ALL the disk data - most of which it does not find but you have to manually enter. When I tried to do the firmware update on the Sony, it "bricked". Tried to get it repaired at Sony. Appears though Sony builds good machines, their "Customer Service" is pretty much non-existent, some have called a Nightmare or worse. Appears that Sony is more concerned with its Entertainment Division - Movies & Music, than its consumer electronics after you buy. The Kenwood DV-5900M IS NOT really any louder than the Sony DVP-CX995V, in my opinion. The Kenwood DV-5900, although it does not have an HDMI output or Sony's "up-scaling", it does have it's own version enhancement - an ADJUSTABLE "Faraudja" Video Enhancer. Using COMPONENT Outputs(Red, Green, Yellow, I think it does as well or better. I really like it. The Faraudja Video Enhancer has 5 settings. I like the Cinema as it looks as good as HDMI on my Sony Bravia XBR 40" TV. Among the other setting are soft and fine. I find the setting "fine" too detailed. Although I can see the sweat on Dolph Lundgrin's face in Detention, it is too much detail on other things, so I use the Cinema setting for a crystal clear picture. The Kenwood also has a "Disk-Flip" feature which helps either if you have inserted a disk backwards, it will flip it for you, as well some DVD disks have Full Screen on one side with Wide Screen on the other, so you can have it flip between the two playable sides of the disk. This Kenwood Disk Player has a wireless keyboard so you can edit or change disk titles that the player will find on it's own from disks that have the disk data imbedded in them. Lastly, for additional disk data there is a computer link/jack on the back of the player that allows you to connect to the internet and download directly disk data. These things as NOT on my Sony "High-End" DVP-CX995V. Between the additional features, a crystal clear picture, and the LACK of "Customer Service" at Sony, I am very happy with my Kenwood DV-5900M machine. After 40 years of buying Sony, I am now very over Sony.

Works Great. Inexpensive.

These Catchmaster Pantry Pest Traps work fantastically. They attract and catch grain, food, bird seed & kitchen moths very quickly and with ease. The little bait does an amazing job. In just one afternoon, just one of these traps, caught almost all of the moths from my bird seed that I have for my Parrots. Highly recommended.
