Pricey but unique striker bring out unusual sounds from a gong
This mallet has a surface that enables it bring out unusual sounds from a gong - sounds that a normal striker simply cannot bring out.

Excellent and well recorded sampler of Latin music
The first few songs are particularly outstanding, with an excellent stereo spread of the instruments and punchy brass.
