Very useful!
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Used with a Food Saver vacuum sealer, either hand held or table top, this jar sealer is great for vacuum sealing wide mouth mason jars. It is NOT a replacement for canning, but rather to keep fresh foods fresh. I use it for crackers, chips, nuts, baking mix, dry pet food, seeds, spices, raisins, etc. It will even extend the freshness of romaine lettuce and spinach. Tip: If your metal lid is really cold, warm it up a little in hot water to get a better seal.

It works but has limitations.
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. It's easy to set but being light weight it can easily get bent/twisted enough so the door doesn't close flush. With some minor twisting it's fairly easy to correct, it just takes patience. Rather than rats we ended up catching 3 young opossums. I think the rats are a lot faster than the possums and were able to dash out.
