Not stereo

The Left audio (white connector) is wired to the right audio pin in the din connector and Right audio is tied to the mono audio pin (pin 6). I checked the left, center, and right channel sound output using the 240p test suite for sega genesis on a flashcart. The sound output is not true stereo and will affect games that pan their sounds on different channels such as The Adventures of Batman and Robin.

Nice cables.

Overpriced, I would wait for PS2 HD Retrovision Component cables. I got this Sony playstation 3 s-video cable for my playstation 1 after regretting selling my monster s video cables. The sony s-video cable has better quality picture in regards to colors, darks, and sharpness. I have noticed jailbars in games like Tekken 3 when using a ps2 with component cables. With this cable you get an image that is close to the quality of component but no jailbars. Only issue is that on my ps1 I had to insert hard until I heard it click and I thought I would break it.

It works for sega genesis but not for master system games on a sega genesis

This works with sega genesis model 1 and model 2. The only issue I have with this controller is that it does not work with Master System games. I am running my games on an everdrive flashcart and do not know if that might be the issue, but sega genesis games run fine with six or three button configurations.
