Great products & service
I was going to try to do this on my own with junkyard parts and a programming cable, but it seems people are aware of the value of these and yank them immediately. So I went this route, and I'm glad I did because they not only programmed it, making it plug & play, but they also informed me of the extra parts I needed for my particular car (a gps antenna, a new USB hub mount (which is cheap and doesn't really securely lock in place), and a new USB hub (a genuine Ford part) as the old USB/SD/RCA hub was incompatible (I actually forgot to put it in before starting it up for the first time and it said "USB hubs not supported, please disconnect"). I've used it a couple of weeks now and it's been great. I also picked up a wireless android auto device that plugs into the USB port, so I've got wireless android auto! The only thing I would recommend is updating the very basic instructions... They said it would most likely be 7mm bolts holding it in... It's actually 2x T25 Torx for the plastic surround, 4x T25 Torx for the screen, and 4x T8 Torx for the screen mounts, which I didn't have anything that small in my toolbox and ended up using an iFixIt tool kit, which was a bit difficult because the factory seems to have used blue thread locker on these tiny screws.
