Works fine. No need to pay more.

This works fine. Nothing too complicated and you don't need anything more expensive than this. Fits as it should for my DRZ. You just have to get it dialed in to the right tension. Proper tension adjustment is key.

Work okay but wish I had gotten higher quality ones.

They work okay. They are probably not the highest quality available. I slow fork seal leaks from both after proper install. Super slow leaks that I can manage as I take good care of my race bike. But I shouldn't have to check on fork oil level just because of a slow leak. I'm not sure if more expensive seals would leak but I kinda wish I had tried.

better guards are available for the DRZ

It doesn't have as much side impact protection as other guards for the DRZ. It has mounting points to the frame in front of the radiators but nothing mounting behind the radiators. So a side impact, even pressing lightly, causes the guards to pivot backwards at their front mounting points. I did not test this (just based on lightly pressing the guards when they were mounted) but I feel like a low speed fall would cause the guards to bend rearwards and completely fold the radiators. That said, the shrouds would stabilize the guards against this a little bit but they are just plastic. These guards are better than nothing but there are better products out there for similar money.
