Double feature

Under the Boardwalk is a bonus. Two surfers fall in love. Trouble is the brother of the girl. Can they be together? Anything is possible when you are in love.

Alice
One of my favorite books as a teen in the 70's. I read it when it first came out. The school library made it available. Sad, because in todays culture it wouldn't be allowed in school.
It's the story of Alice, a young girl consumed by the world of drugs. Reading this diary you can't help but feel sorry for Alice. To see her world crumble and the drugs consume her young life.
It has been said the story was made up. The girl is not a real person. But if you have ever been around someone who drugs were their life. You know the story to be true.
My daughter who had never sat down to read a book, even by high school. Read this one and shared it with her friends. Who all read it and thanked me for sharing this hard story of a young girl. That copy was lost. I purchased this copy for my 14 year old granddaughter to read and pass on to her friends.
