Solid, reliable egpu box.

This sonnet box works great. Its quiet, works on mac and pc, has plenty of room and power. Not the smallest, but a solid, reliable egpu case.

Old but still packs a punch

These older mac pro 3,1 machines run Xeons from the Core2 era of processors. Don't let it fool you, they still run like champions and can be made quicker with flash storage attached to the pcie bus and loading out with cheap memory. These macs are great on expansion, something Apple decided to forget for a while, which is extremely unfortunate. 4 drive bays, can still put a beastly graphics card in it, really doesn't run very loud due to big fans in it. Yes, it's not as fast as a current i-series xeon, but it doesn't kill your wallet like one either.

Works just like it should

Got this to enable handoff on a mac pro 5,1 and an adaptor. It works fine. The adaptor needed is difficult to install, but it all works.
