Poorly constructed
I purchased this stapler and within two weeks it was starting to jam in the "down" position. Even unplugging it would not un-jam it. I would have to remove the staple holder and reposition it, then plug and unplug to get it unstuck.
Now, after about 2 months, it has jammed irreparably. This is a stylish looking major piece of junk. It's now in the trash.
The Office Depot catalog has similar negative reviews.

Simple. Strong. Reliable.
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Besides having a solid feel, this stapler is very simple to operate. After hundreds of staplings so far, not a single jam. A simple button on the back end will release the staple tray that pops part way out. It is easy enough to then slip a full stick of staples into the tray and push it back to latch it in-place. This tray has a very snug fit that probably helps keep the staples aligned properly to avoid any jamming. The trigger mechanism is sensitive enough to staple a couple of receipts or pages of a newspaper article together. It can easily staple a stack of papers 24 or 25 sheets thick – no problem, not a single jam.
After using this stapler for awhile, I realized how much this could help my Mom who has arthritis that often hurts here hands. Now I know what I can get her for Christmas to help with her home office work.
As a mechanical engineer I can appreciate the precision of the stapling mechanism. It had the same crisp sound whether I was stapling thin receipts or a full stack of papers. So far it is not slowing down at all, I expect the batteries will probably last as long as the add says. I’ve worn out 2 or 3 hand staplers in my day, but this unit feels like it will last until I retire.
