Worth a try for sure.

The "clash" mode is a great feature but it becomes to easy to win, and when you dont have any clash, it is very hard to move the football. On defense when you use the clash meter you make a dirty hit and this makes the player you are tackling more prone to injure themselves. Another new clash thing is clash icons, where you get and icon for juking a defender, getting a touchdown, a stiffarm, dirty hits, etc. Get six of these and you get and "unleash" move. These are basically the same as clash, but when you get a clash icon, you get a little cutscene and you make a spectacular catch/move or a brutal hit. The problem with this is that when you make one move, good bye clash. the clash meter is completely drained. A new gamemode to sports games in general is the story mode. This is fun, but it is more of playing the game and less of the story. Not enough cutscenes, as in your star player gets injured. Ya. nothing. Although this is not a really bad thing, if you want a story, you need to really tell the story a little quicker. Oh did i mention you can hire "escorts" to the other team and take steroids. When you do get injured the Time you are injured for is kinda not fair. Lets say i tear my MCL, 6 games! That is insane. He should be out for the season! Another flaw is the AI. It is not a HUGE problem but if you are a die hard sports gamer, the AI wont try for the two to make it a three point game. There are some funny glitches too. At one point you could be just about to sack the QB and he will dodge your tackle, but if someone else hits him at the same time, the QB froze in his position, and literally slid out of bounds standing up.

In addition to tricked out new race, crash and road rage modes, Burnout Revenge adds Revenge mode, challenging gamers to battle the clock and unleash their frustrations on rush hour traffic.The Revenge Meter is broken up into ten categories, with the lowest and first rank being Harmless. A series of race areas are available in each Revenge Rank, and each area has its own subset of race types. So for example, the Harmless ranking contains Sunshine Keys, Motor City, Angel Valley and Lone Peak areas along with a Preview Event. Each one of the areas contains at least one event, be it Crash, Road Rage or what have you. If an area has more than one event (as most do) you may need to place in an open event to unlock others, similar to how Burnout 3 workedProgression up the Revenge Meter is earned by gaining stars in each event. Up to four stars are earned for your driving prowess while the fifth and final star is earned by a Gold ranking. You begin each event with an OK rating (one star) and through aggressive driving techniques, like drifting, checking traffic, takedowns, extended boost periods and so forth, you'll work up to the Good, Great and then Awesome ratings, or two, three and four stars respectively. Your rank dictates your final star count with Gold giving you an additional star, Silver essentially being a wash, and a Bronze medal means a star is revoked. Non-placement means that any star rating you've earned doesn't count. So to score a Perfect rating on an event, you'll need to drive aggressively enough to earn an Awesome rating while also finishing first.
Previous Revenge Ranks stay open as you progress through the game, meaning that you can go back and complete any event you've skipped over later on. As was the case in Burnout 3, you don't need to finish every event in order to continue your progression through the game. We managed to reach the highest ranking, Elite, after completing somewhere around 115 of the 169 available events with something like 95 Perfect ratings within those.

11 personnes sur 13 ont jugé cet avis utile. i had a fun time with this game this is a game that the steering took me a minute 2 get used 2, but after that it was fun the only problem is that the game is alittle short i beat it in 1 day and there easy but i like using powerups to drive and having to dodge things shooting from other cars. its a good game though try it.
