quick, easy and reliable
I've had other instant read thermometers in the past and thought I'd try one more because the others stopped working shortly after using the first time. This one is consistently reliable and doesn't take up much space. I would definitely buy it as a gift for someone.

alternate use
This basketball was purchased for something other than playing basketball. It was bought as a pool toy. It is sturdy, keeps the air even in the hot Arizona sun, and remains strong.
