Super-expensive repairs prevented with this simple part
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. When my 2001 Montero began making electronic growling noises and flashing the ABS light, friends warned me that they had spent thousands of dollars repairing the braking system. A few others, however, told me about the simple fix of merely replacing the ABS accumulator. It's an inexpensive part that replaces a part that originally had a known problem. It was subject to a recall, but my Montero is well outside the 10 year window in which Mitsubishi offered the replacement. No worries. Grab a 21 mm socket wrench, unscrew the old one and screw on the replacement. There are some specific instructions to follow detailing how to pump the brake pedal to depressurize & repressurize the thing, but the whole procedure is very simple and takes 10 minutes. You can do it in your driveway with your good clothes on!

Exact replacement for OEM bolt.
If you have forgotten to grease the OEM bolts in your Montero, this is the one you may end up needing.

The proper way to tap into wiring
Secure, positive, long-lasting way to tap into wires for auto or motorcycle projects. So much better than those cheap snap-together taps that make two big slices into the insulation. Be sure to select the proper size and style, i.e. whether you're doing a T tap or an end splice.
