Super transparent
This thing is like a couple of hairs ahead of my Audient ID22 in transparency. It’s like Evian water. A crystal clear, crisp, “Woah.” Some think it’s clinical, which I take as lacking character/color, but for VO it’s exactly what I needed. Especially if you have a great mic already. And I get lots more gain so I can reach line level without a large noise floor, and the ribbon button is nice to prevent damage. I like how the LEDs turn on and off so you can visually see what’s on and off. It’s a simple common sense thing, but not every device does that.
