Silent Serial Sensations a great read!
If you are interested in silent films and serials, Silent Serial Sensations is a great read. With plot synopses, historical information, and whether the serials are available, author Barbara Tepa Lupack has done a fine job of assembling information about the Wharton Brothers and their work in Ithaca.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy-Rattle Them Bones CD is the best!
If you like the great bands and singers of the past/swing music (such as Cab Calloway and Louis Prima), this is the CD for you. Loaded with energetic numbers (some by BBVD's lead singer, Scotty Morris), this is a real toe-tapper!
