Engine will not run. Sometimes will start and go 2 inches then it will stop lever in correct position

Engine will not run. Will sometimes start and go 2 inches, and then it will stop. Can you find a 2025 working replacement? I will pay any reasonable additional cost. What ever you can do would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Ron Lenzi
