GlobalSat BU-353 GPS Receiver
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. Item arrived promptly. Well packaged, works great. I am using with Windows XP with OpenCPN an excellent shareware boat navigation program. The antenna is used at the chart table inside a Jeanneau Sun Odysset 35, as a backup Chart plotter. From inside the cabin there is no problems with reception at all. Excellent results, highly recommended.
I also tried using the bundled software on another laptop that runs MS Vista. The driver works OK, the computer recognises the GPS immediately, however I could not get the rest of the bundled software to work. A search on Google soon provided me with other free software (Simple GPS tester) that gives similar results.I could not get OpenCPN to work with Vista either but that is beyond the topic of this review

Good for the price.
Looks like a well built product that should stand up to the elements quite well. At the price I think it is a bargain.

Excellent product
Saved my phone in a drop that ended with the phone face down on hard surface with some gravel providing sharp edges. At first I thought the screen had shattered but on closer examination realised it was the protector that had shattered, leaving the phone intact. Therefore I have re purchased the product as I know if works.
