Great mix of high output and affordable cost
This is the best flash for the amateur photographer. There are more expensive units with higher power, but those appeal to the pros who will be shooting weddings many times a week. If you are an advanced amateur, this is a great companion to the Sony cameras with the Multi-Interface hot shoe. Recycle times will vary with settings but I found that I almost never had to wait for the flash to recycle. I really also liked the High Speed Sync (HSS) setting which allows the use of higher shutter speeds while using the flash. I do a lot of photography of adoptable dogs in shelters and you have to use higher speeds to stop the images as they seem to be always moving. I like the locking mechanism for the unit and never had it move accidentally. A great unit at a great price.

Great Scanner at a Great Price
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. This budget scanner has now been discontinued by Nikon. But, I don't believe it was due to the quality and capabilities of the device. The only Nikon slide and film scanner you can buy is in the thousands of dollars. I bought this new in 2008 for $600 and it has exceeded my expectations ever since. I have been able to convert slide and negative into brilliant, sharp digital images rivaling the quality of a digital SLR. I highly recommend this scanner to anyone who wants to control the process themselves as opposed to sending off your slides to a processing house. And, if you have a lot of images, using this scanner will save you lots of money.
