Simply the Best
My father grew up an Indiana farm boy in the 1920s and 30s when the sweetner of choice was sorghum molasses produced on the farm. He introduced me to this delight when I grew up in the 1940s and 50s, but we were city folk and didn't make our own so it was a rare delight. The brands that appear in grocery stores now are fine, but seem to me to lack the flavor and panache I remember from my youth. Then I discovered, through a niece, Ozark Counry Sorghum and have been in heaven since. Love it on hot biscuits and homemade corn bread. It has a strong, clear, pure taste, and the 10 oz bottle is the right size to keep in from going to waste. Though pricy, it is great value for the money, especially if you appreciate the old time taste.

For the Experienced Modeler
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. My father told me about fire support from the battleship Texas when he landed in Normandy during the invasion of France in June 1944, so I plan to build the model in that configuration. The model is well done and the many parts should simply glue together with little problem, but my goal will require a great deal more work. The hull needs major sanding and surgery to make it accurate. There are websites that show what must be done, but my ability may not be up to that task. Additionally, the paint scheme and rigging require considerable research beyond the information provided in the kit. In sum, inexperienced modelers should find a simpler project to do first; experienced modelers will find this kit a satisfactory challenge but should expect to do a great deal of research and work to make the end product accurate. For both, the kit has lots and lots and lots of little parts.
