Good value.

Good value. Mic is too small and cord is too short. Works very well and is a necessity when using Baofeng UV5R in the car plugged in to a mobile antenna

Lack of "ears"

"Ears" are severely lacking on this antenna. Compared new 3' Firestik to an old fiberglass antenna I had. Both tested SWRs at about 1.4:1. Radio output power is 25% higher on old antenna. QSOs with base station 15 miles away were loud and strong on old antenna- new Firestik could not receive the station and I was below the noise in identical tests for his perspective. I would not recommend this antenna for anything other than Channel 19.
