This Sigma 19mm is and excellent lens for sharp images.
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. This Sigma 19mm I bought is a first class lens for M4/3, in third party quantitative tests the lens performed well and this tipped the balance towards this particular lens. Also, I already own the Sigma 30mm and the 60mm, both excellent lenses. This lens performs better than the Olympus 17mm lens but not quite as well as the Lumix 20mm lens, but it would be very hard to see the difference in a well made image using both lenses. I shoot with the Lumix GX7 and only in monochrome and the lens serves me well. Lens construction seems well done, as would be expected from Sigma. The focusing is fast, faster than my Lumix Elmaret 45mm, Leica Macro, and also very quite. Also, it works well with the in-body stabilizer and is immediately recognized by the camera as a 19mm lens. It is larger than the pancake lenses in this focal length, but a lot easier to use. It a perfect choice for my work.

Canon CanoScan FS2710 Film Scanner (35 mm)
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. These old scanners by Canon where fine scanners in 1999 and even today they function well on my XP AMD processor computer and on Macs. I got my CanoScan FS2710 on Ebay for $20 plus shipping. It does a good job of scanning, its post scan software is a bit out dated but using Adobe Elements the image produced is more than satisfactory. Cost+functionality equals an excellent value in this case.

Tiffen remains consistently accurate!
After 60 years doing photography Tiffen remains the most accurate and consistent filter for BV&W contrast management. I use them with my Sony A7r and Panasonic Lumix Gx7 and GX8 cameras to excellent effect. Thanks.
