5M RGB 5050 Waterproof LED Strip light SMD 44 Key Remote 12V US Power Full Kit

Serves purpose cheaply with one small drawback.

I used this to wrap around a pvc pipe and mount inside a fish tank light lid. Gives me more control than any cheap LED bulbs made for fish tanks. Would have to pay crazy bucks to get the same color choices. In this way I can really make the colors of my fish pop without making the whole tank look like it's in a spotlight. I'm taking away a star because I had a setup like this before and this set briefly flashes white when first turned on. Then it jumps to the previous settings. My old unit didn't do that. If you are to use this in the way I have I would recommend wrapping the strip loosely around the pvc so it has room to cool. Wrapping tightly results in a hotter strip which is what burned up my old setup. I also drill some holes in the top and back of the light shroud to let out some heat and to have a space to run the transistor/control module.
