Cheaper than retail if you can wait for it to ship.
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. The way Hayward designed this, it is very easy to crack when removing to clean the pump basket. Very important to clean all threads on the lid and the pump body. If you don't, you'll find, as I did, that any bit of grit that gets in the threads requires you to apply too much force to the lid to remove- and cracks it. A good silicon lube is a good idea too.

quick, easy & cheap solution
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Hayward would like to sell you the entire PC board- but why should you replace more than you have to? My original equipment switches were severely sun burnt after 12 years in the Arizona sun. In fact, the panel fell apart as I was swapping it out. The replacement panel is precision engineered for an exact fit- no measuring or guesswork. The job took 15 minutes or less to complete. Great product, and I recommend to anyone.
