Parrot - Zik Parrot Noise Cancelling Headphones Black Gold

Parrot Zik 1 - A really great pair of headphones!

For those that have not tried the Parrot Zik headphones but may have doubts, let me try and reassure you that they are a truly fine pair of headphones. First off let me say that I have never been a headphone enthusiast, always preferring a loudspeaker instead. And that is still true. But if one must own headphones then I cannot recommend these enough. The sound a terrific along with what I think is the best noise cancellation out there. It is extremely impressive when travelilng - planes, trains or automobiles and it really shines. And these are the places I use the Parrot Ziks the most. BTW, this is the first model 1. I have not tested the two or three, though it seems to me the upgrades are modest and maybe not worth it at this point. Stick with the 1 and you'll be happy especially as you can find these for as little as $80 refurbished, as I did. They are perfect and at that price this has to be one of the great values in audio. You will see that a number of people complain about the short battery life, for me it's close to about 5 hours with everything on, and also you'll see complaints about the lower audio quality for phone calls. Both of these critiques are true but in my opinion not that big of a deal. Certainly not for $80. Can't recommend the Parrot Zik 1s enough!
