Return to RPG style.
It's a great return to classic Final Fantasy RPG games with the turn based fighting style. It's a large world to explore and there's random enemy encounters. There are eight different characters in the game, each with their own story. You are granted the ability to choose a single character to start with, who you choose at the start becomes your party leader, but you still encounter the others during the course of the game and see their stories.
The problem with the game is that it does become redundant over time since the gameplay doesn't change at all, and the difficulty spikes quickly. In other words, you're going to be doing a lot of grinding between sections of the stories, so you're going to have to be patient with it.
Overall, it's an intriguing story, and if you like turn-based RPGs this is a nice return to form.
