A functional and attractive upgrade for the pro-2

Even with the original velcro straps fastened tightly, my battery seemed to shift on nearly every run. With this brace screwed down, there is absolutely no movement at all. It permits the running of a shorty pack if you prefer, and there is a lot of room to adjust for weight bias. The only complaint is that the $100 chassis should have come with this part rather than requiring us to buy it separately.

Tekno for the win

While many of these reviews are about Losi's SCTE, this Tekno is the truck to have, especially for beginning racers. Built on a more solid platform than the Losi or Associated trucks, its more durable and still extremely agile. Also important is that the Losi and Associated trucks go through frequent upgrades, and the old platforms and parts get discontinued. Tekno makes all new upgrades backwards compatible, and this is great for the racer who wants to stay current but doesn't have the money for a new kit every 6-12 months. The original SCT 410 can be upgraded to the 410.3, the current version, with a few inexpensive parts.

Tough as nails and a joy to build and drive.

If you've never built a race kit before, it's hard to appreciate just how good this Tekno kit really is. Every part of this truck makes sense and is built twice is tough as the competition. Right out of the box, the truck is dialed in and ready to go. I absolutely could not recommend it more.
