Very solid guitar
I wasn't sure what to expect, this was my first 8 string but I've always been impressed with even the beginner level Ibanez guitars and this instrument was no different. I was surprised by the weight & solid feel of the guitar because I was expecting something lighter. The neck was also a pleasant surprise, the wide but thin design allows for very easy maneuvering over the fretboard. The sound is clean, rich and full with lots of low end which is exactly why I wanted the extra low strings. Pots are clean when operated and the tuners are smooth and tight. All in all I really love this guitar and was very impressed with the quality.

A whole lotta BOOM for your buck
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Ive played guitar for almost 30 years but this is the first bass I've owned. I wanted a six string to record alongside my 8-string guitar. This bass was perfect. I made some minor modifications to the nut to accommodate thicker strings as I wanted a low G instead of a B,and it seems to have worked out well. The actions is great, it has a nice range of sounds and the neck, though quite wide is actually very comfortable to play. I am very pleased with this bass.

Shred Machine
I'm very pleased with this guitar. I purchased it because my first 8 string has a basswood body & I wanted something with a harder wood in the hopes it would make a little better recording. The Parralaxe definitely delivered that. The EMGs live up to heir reputation for clean, aggressive attack. The extra cutaway on the neck makes accessing the upper frets much more comfortable. Clear, rich, full of sustain, this axe is a metal beast.
