Actually it will be installed today. The pool company cleaning the pool told me that these grids should never be back flushed. I would like to get that from Pentair.

Sunpower SMS-PVS20R1 Commercial PV Supervisor BRAND NEW!

Not the newest but it is working.

This is the oldest of the SunPower PV Supervisor's. This is a direct replacement for the unit that was installed in my place in 2012. The new PV5 and newer PV6 units from Sun Power cost form % 650 to $ 750. It is a problem to get these units commissioned. The PV5 and PV 6 units need to be totally rewired and thus the higher cost. This PV2 unit is a direct replacement so you just have to plug in the cables, then open up the documentation and tell it to self commission. This takes some time and it can find the inverters. Then you have to be a Sun agent to log into Sun and open the Commissioning page and complete the commissioning process. My monitor on my computer then started to receive data a day after this was completed, but it still had a red bar across the screen saying that Sun Power had lost communications. The problem turned out to be that the Sun Power website had the old PV Supervisor Serial Number in multiple places and so their systems could not sync up. Once the Sun Agent got the duplicated Serial numbers removed, it still took another day for the red bar across my screen to go away. I hope this unit will last me another 7 years, then I will have the PV 6 or what ever the newest model to be installed. Sun guarantees the panels for 20 years, but these PV Supervisors for only 5.
