Iphone 12 same as the 13 and still almost perfect
I had an iphone 12 but alas, it only had 128GB and I needed more. Hence purchasing the Iphone 13 256GB. Using it for a week now I believe I can safely say that there is no measurable difference between the two phone models. I'd say the 12 is a slightly brighter red, that's about it. Yea, I read all the blather about the processor, screen keyhole, and camera____but the functional difference is nil. Took a long time to set up with the operating system download plus the amount of data to transfer.
Not to say it isn't a great phone. The smaller form factor is perfect for me and given the abuse I put a phone through, it is a champion survivor. It is fast and doesn't hang up (literally or figuratively). Just about as perfect as it could be, probably why there was no difference between the phones.

The perfect watch
Multifunction watch controlled by a single crown made out of titanium. Capable and unpretentious. Bought my first one in 1989 and wore it every day (34 years) all over the world until it was lost/stolen 6 months ago. Looked at a thousand other watches, most costing a lot less (though price was not a consideration). All fell short as being too busy, too small, too mechanical, etc. Don't like the newer Breitling models as much either, the numbers are blocky and the bracelet clunky. Instead bought this ~1992 watch as a replacement and could not be more pleased!

Power on works, not much else
It works, kind of. The internal electromechanical components like buttons and dials work only sometimes. I was able to get through my experiment, but it was a bit painful.
It was only guaranteed power on, so I guess it's on me. Still, not a great piece of equipment.
