Wonderful rendition of classic Dumas novel!
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. This 2002 movie of the classic Dumas novel was wonderfully done! The acting is superb and the scenery is magnificent. It is well worth the full price, but at $10.00 it was an absolute must for my DVD library. Jim Cavaziel, who later went on to do a heart-wrenching Jesus in "The Passion of the Christ" is the perfect Dantes! Guy Pearce was equally up to the task of Mondego, doing a wonderful job of playing the scoundrel! I will not go into details on plot, for fear of revealing too much to those who haven't seen it. My suggestion is to buy it, watch it and experience a truly wonderful story of love, intrigue, betrayal and redemption! You will not regret it!!
