Great kit! If you're interested in White Star Lines Olympic-class ship this is one for you

I've only had a chance to review the contents of this model - but I'm amazed at the level of detail and care that went into this model is very much appreciated, but I will say that this isn't a kit for the beginner - lots of tiny parts as I said before the level of detail is quite overwhelming when you first open up the box and look at all the parts that need to be assembled - but even the box art is really great. But those people who care to take the time and energy to assemble this kit will undoubtedly very happy with the results.

A new book on ocean liners that is really great.

This is the best ocean liner book I've seen in a long time - great photos and the text matches the quality of the photos. A lot of people think there was ocean liner services on the North Atlantic - but there are a lot of interesting ships and liners on other services. The quality of the photographs is really amazing - lots of photos of ships being built - so Harland & Wolff is well represented. For $19.95 it really is a bargain.

Great Model!

Thus far, I really haven't had a chance to start working on it - but the parts and such seem to be a good quality - so I'm looking forward to do this - right now with the holidays - it is rather difficult to get started with a model - later this winter it will be perfect to start working on it.
